Engage, Inspire, Ignite!

Serra’s USA Council’s popular annual Serra Rally event is returning to beautiful Ventura, California, in 2020! Back in a land infused by the spiritual presence of our patron, Saint Junípero Serra, join us as we explore our theme, “Creating a Culture of Vocations.”

The purpose of the annual Serra Rally is to keep Serrans powerfully connected to and enthusiastic about their vocations mission. The way the Rally does this is three-fold. At the Rally, you will:

  • Engage with other Serrans from around the country to strengthen your organizational network for sharing ideas, solving problems, and building morale
  • Be inspired by top-notch lay and religious speakers who work on the front lines calling laborers to the Harvest
  • Ignite and renew your dedication to our vocations apostolate via opportunities for profound spiritual development and conversion
Attending the Serra USA Rally in Phoenix was an energizing experience. Meeting and sharing ideas with like-minded Serrans from around the country was fun and exciting. Having a number of our members attend has been very positive for our club which is now growing.

Cathedrals & Missions Tour:
Stay after the Rally for a prayerful tour of two cathedrals and six missions

A pilgrimage tour of six California missions is planned for all who wish to stay after the Rally, starting on the afternoon of Sunday, January 19 and ending on Wednesday, January 22 with a flight home on January 23. Coordinated by Canterbury Pilgrimages and led by Fr. Jim Heyd of Chicago, this will include southern California missions from Ventura to San Diego (last year we visited the missions north to San Francisco). Plus, we will visit two cathedrals: Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in Los Angeles, and the Diocese of Orange’s “Crystal” Christ Cathedral — truly an architectural marvel.  Connect to your Serran spirituality like never before when you treat yourself to this Cathedrals and Missions Tour. Click here for more details online.
