Pray for the online prayer requests submitted by others.

Trusting in our ever-living God, let us present our prayers of petition.

Gary Davis needs our help. He needs our prayers and he needs the help of Blessed Junipero Serra's intercession for healing. We all need to join our prayers of intercession into one large prayerful shout to Heaven that just simply won't be ignored and God, in His mercy, will answer with His gentle healing of this gentle man, Gary Davis.

Let us pray to the Lord.

For those who hear Jesus’ call to vocations within the Church: May our communities support and encourage those contemplating vocations to the priesthood, deaconate, religious life and lay ecclesial ministry.
Let us pray to the Lord.

Faithful and Gracious God, throughout the ages you have been faithful to your promises. Stir within us faith to be true to your commands. Pour forth your love into our hearts to be servants to one another. Give us constant hope in your covenant that binds us in communion with you and one another. Continue to strengthen us, and all those who serve you and the church in ministry, especially our priests. We ask all of these prayers in the name of Christ our Lord.

In His Steps Prayer

"Walk with Blessed Junipero Serra as he traces our Lord's footsteps in search of workers for the vineyard."

Holy Spirit, you are the love and light of the world. Continue to give all Serrans the courage and generosity to respond ardently to your call.

With one voice now, all Serrans say, "Here I am Lord." Fire each of us with a renewed spirit and enthusiasm to work for vocations for our Church.

Deepen our commitment to the Serran mission that we may, indeed, walk "in his steps" on our journey.

Father, we ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord, through the intercession of Blessed Junipero Serra and Mary, the Mother of the Church and religious vocations.

Amen
